Following the continuous squeeze on police officer pay and the constant rise in cost of living we all know that, at times, it can be difficult to ‘balance the books’ with our personal finances.
In the latest Police Federation Pay & Morale Survey, 68% of respondents from North Wales Police stated that they felt they were worse off financially than they were five years ago. Furthermore, just under 40% of respondents locally reported that they worry about the state of their personal finances every day or almost every day.
We understand the pressures you all face so, working with Spillane & Co. Wealth Management, we have developed a series of workshops that will help you be more ‘money-savvy’, give you practical and honest advice in relation to your pensions and support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
No matter what your personal situation is there will be something for you in these workshops and will undoubtedly help.
The workshops are planned for:
Thursday 29th November – St Asaph DHQ (Conference Room A)
Friday 30th November – Colwyn Bay HQ (Conference Room 1)
Monday 10th December – Caernarfon DHQ
Tuesday 11th December – Llay DHQ
All workshops will run from 3pm – 5pm.
These workshops are open to all police officers and staff. Coffee and cake will be on offer to everyone who attends!
To guarantee your space, as rooms are limited in size, please email the Federation Office stating which workshop you want to attend.
It has been agreed by the Force that you can attend in duty time but please ensure that your line manager is aware and supports.
If you have any queries then please do not hesitate to get in contact.
